      Images are not blurry form the jar, chances are its the software your using to view the images. I suggest opening them with a photo editor such as Paint Dot Net if you are on windows or GIMP if your on Linux or mac. These applications are designed for editing and viewing small images and are both free. I personally use Paint Dot Net the link for the software can be found below. getpaint.net/

      I have tired to make this recently with trident/spear tutorial, the only way I could get it to actually work is by dropping the projectile item as a item. To get the exact rotation and such requires custom code.

      I think I may have used a custom model, this video was from a while ago so not entirely sure but if you use a custom model you can shift the texture a couple pixels down and it should be flush with the farmland.

      Use the replace block instead of the remove and place blocks, this does the exact same thing as the old system in one block. Everything else will work the exact same in later versions than 1.8.2

      I wish you luck! Remember that making a mod takes time, and I suggest learning some basic pixel art and modeling skills before jumping fully into to a mod you want to publish. If you want a good channel for learning pixel art Adam's channel below has a great pixel art playlist for tutorials.       It can be done for custom dimensions but when it comes to the end I don't think there is full support by Mojang just yet. The nether was much the same way until the nether update, the end is still lacking behind.

    I have a couple of questions. 1 - to connect jigsaws, do we need to have one block with the target and the target block needs to be empty? 2 - for the fallback pool, do the pieces need to have pool destinations set? 3 - if I designate a jigsaw to another jigsaw, but that another jigsaw is designated to a third one, does it still work?

      For #1 The block that generates the connecting jigsaw should have a target name under your mods namespace. Also, the name should be left as minecraft:empty for the block selecting the connecting jigsaw. For the part that generates the jigsaw block should have the name set to be the same as the generator jigsaw block's target name. The target name on the generating jigsaw block should be Minecraft empty. So to recap. For the block generating - Target Name: example_mod:example_name - Name: minecraft:empty For the block is generated. - Target name minecraft:empty - Name:: example_mod:example_name For #2 Not sure I fully understand what you mean by destinations. The fallback pool will need the correct name for the block-generating Using the example in #1 your fallback structures should use the second recap settings to match the generator blocks. #3 Still not sure what you mean by designate. Think of the pool as a loot table because it just consists of a list of structures that can be generated. You can even have more than one name group in the same pool, this basically makes it so only the jigsaw blocks with matching names will be selected from the pool. Say you have the following structures with the names listed below for the pool the number it starts with on each line will be the group it belongs to and will generate from. 1 - Structure A Name: houses 1 - Structure B Name: houses 2 - Structure C Name: decor 1 - Structure D Name: houses 2 - Structure E Name: decor 2 - Structure F Name: decor As you can see anything with the name decor will be part of Group 2 whereas anything with houses will be part of Group 1. The game knows which is which based on the name provided in the jigsaw blocks and it will automatically select the right group even if there is more than one group in the same pool. When it comes to a fallback pool this is used normally at the end of the maximum distance from the center jigsaw block. In villages, it is generated at the end of the paths in some cases. From what I can tell they don't always generate but I am not sure why this is the case. It may require space or something but I have not looked too much into the pool though wiki has more technical documentation on jigsaw blocks and it's files. I hope this helps a bit.

And, for example, they have the "Fit" number NBT to 1, the model and texture for "fit" SHOULD appear, but it doesn't. I put as condition for it to happen to "Return logic: if (Get Target Entity NBT number tag "Fit"=1) then TRUE else FALSE"... But the Fit model and texture doesn't appear... Did I did something wrong...? It says at the bottom that block "entity_nbt_num" isn't synced automatically client-server, so it may not work always... What does that mean? Has anything to do with this? Can it be fixed...? Edit: its all in the procedure for Initial Spawn of the entity

      I will most likely cover the entity layers more in-depth in the future. NBT variables are reset when the entity is removed from the world this means it can be reset when they go through portal not ideal for keep entity states. You will want to store the variables using synced data, which is basically stored variables for the entity. This is what I did with the entity here and then tested for the variable for the model layer. The final part will explain how I got it working in Ep73 for this series.

    Hello, i am in 2024.1 and i created an enchantment only possible on a stick. For the enchantment type i choosed vanishable and in the "can be applied to" section i selected the stick. It works perfectly on anvil with the enchanted book but on enchanting table, if i put the stick in nothing happened, ty for ur help

      Chances is the file your importing is not supported by MCreator for the generator your using. Blocks and items need to be .json and made under the Java Block/Item project workspace in Blockbench. For entities and projectiles they need to be .java and made under the Modded entity project workspace in Blockbench. Trying to import bedrock files will not work on java and vise versa as they use two different languages Java is coded in Java and I think Bedrock is in one of the C languages either C++ or C# most likely. This make a huge difference as the code will be structured differently and may or may not even support specific things. Hope this helps a bit. If not you can always ask on MCreator forums people are pretty good there though may take some time to get a reply.

      Jigsaw structures don't require any aditional element just the structure and the pool. Your pool name will always start with the structure registry name followed by a _ then the pool name you set. So if your structure element is called VillageHouse then the registry part would be most likely village_house When you set your pool in the structure element it will be village_house_<name_you_set> This is all under your mods namespace so say my mod namespace is cctvcraft any my pool name is camera_tower below is what it would look like. cctvcraft:village_house_camera_tower the last thing to note is you can group more than one thing under the pool, you don't need to break up structures into separate pools unless you want to use the same target name and name, those two settings will group the structures together, anything that does not match the target name will be ignored even if in the same pool, the only time you really need to break them up is if you want to use them in a separate system for your structure like set the rarity a bit higher in a other structure or something otherwise using the target name and name to sub-group things in the same pool will work just fine. I hope I explained that well.

    I created a custom underground structure, and it only generates the first one and only 1 random template from the pool, but it won't generate anything else. This is probably just me being dumb, but I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong

      Under the jigsaw page where the pools are make sure you have the "jigsaw generation depth" set to 7. 7 should be the highest it can go but it controls how many times the jigsaw block can generate children of the main structure. I think 1 would be one child, if you set it to 2 then it should be like (parent > child > child) etc. If this does not work then its possible that the pool is not set up correctly in the structure, or that the name does not match the target name of the block trying to generate from the pool. Hope that this helps a bit.

      Features may support structure placement but I am not that familiar with what options there are for water detection but it might be possible to do through features. I would check the feature templates to see if there is something already made otherwise you will need to set up one from scratch. Features are not to complex but are limited. Your best best would be to go this route for natural generation but you will still need to use the ray tracing to place them on water like in this tutorial. If the tutorial uses material blocks you will need to replace them with tags instead with the types of blocks used in the old material type. Mojang removed material testing not to long ago so many things that I had recorded more recently may be broken due to this one thing Mojang did. However all you need to do is replace the blocks with tags instead and everything should work as normal. Hope this helps a bit.

    How would I make a structure that generates on the surface, but has a basement under the surface? Kinda like the Igloo w/ dungeon. Would a jigsaw section pointing down work, or is there another easy way to do that I'm missing?

      Yep you nailed the it, you will want to make a part pointing down and set up the pool and target name, the set the name on the basement part to match the target name. Lastly make sure that your basement is filled with cave air rather than air, not filling the parts you want to be air will just fill in with the terrain, most underground structures and features use cave air to make voids so you will need to do this as well.

    Sorry if it's a bit off topic, but would you know how if right clicked on a specific entity with item remove the item and give a other item? I have tried to do it with the object's triggers but it doesn't work

      The entity would need to have a inventory for this to work, you would need to also make a right-click on entity procedure then test for the players main-hand item, I suggest saving this to a itemstack variable which will make it a bit easier to swap items. Once you have saved the main hand of the player replace the player main hand with the entities item in the desired slot. Lastly you need to replace the entities slot with the item stack you saved prior to setting the player's main hand. Keep in mind that the source entity and event/target entity will be two different entities, you will most likely also need to specify the entity to right-click on so either using a tag and place all your custom entities in that tag or if you have just a few entities then just test for exact entities and compare the entity with one of those types. You can make use of the OR statement for more than one test on the same IF statement saving room when testing for more than one thing. I hope this helps a bit.

      You would need to make a particle first using the particle element then set the effect in your custom biome under the effects tab, any custom particles will be listed in the dropdown list after you have made the particle.

    I want my armor to make the plaeyr immune to explosions, how do I do this?

      You may need to use a global procedure trigger for when an entity is hurt, though lots has changed with damage in the last while so I am not sure how the procedure would look in the latest version.

    I done everything exaclty like on video, my target pool is correct. But jigsaws still doesn't work.

      I have plans to do a more in-depth video series on structures and jigsaw blocks, though I have committed to making some community tutorials before this can happen. Though after I will be moving on to the series after I get the ones I have on note cards done.

      Its not public just yet but if you go to discord.com/ there is a download for desktop. There should also be a app for phones on the app store for the device though I don't have a smart phone so never have had to try finding the app for one.

      This most likely won't happen. I don't trust Mojang enough to provide proper moderation with their built in reporting system. I have seen people mention that their accounts were removed because of false reports. And in regard to expenses hosting a server for a game such as Minecraft is vary costly. Best option would to rent a dedicated server which is $100 or more USD per month which is not cheap but its built for large communities which would be expected to have from something public like this Discord is free and requires no hosting costs which is why I have been moving forward with this one.

    do you know how to make a mob immune to a specific projectile? i know theres an option to make a mob immune to projectiles but i only want it to be immune to one projectile. i have a ranged mob im trying to add to my mod, and whenever it shoots what is supposed to be an ally, they start fighting.

      I sadly don't know if this is possible, I have not worked much with entities other than tutorials and much has changed over the years I am quite far behind, I am great with blocks and block mechanics but not as up to date with entities or projectiles. Sorry.
